Where are you in the world?
Where do you work?
Remote (team based in Portland, OR)
How many browser tabs do you have open?
What are you working on?
PHP itself, the PHP manual, various work projects I can't talk about.
Do you listen to music while you work?
If you do listen to music, what type of music do you listen to?
It's pretty similar to my normal musical tastes: lots of indie, post rock, etc, but maybe with a bit more of a bias towards instrumental stuff when I'm working.
When do you feel you are most productive?
Late afternoon, sitting on my couch (not at my desk!) after having had a coffee or two.
Which tools do you use almost everyday?
vim, Vagrant, Docker, git (and GitHub). I'm pretty hardware and OS agnostic — my personal hardware is a variety of laptops running Debian, combined with a work provided MacBook Pro running OS X.
Where can people find you online?
Do you have a short always-present philosophy of work?
Work is 90% perspiration and 10% inspiration, but don't try it without the 10%. (With apologies to Richie Benaud.)
When and where do you work?
I work about 10-6 most days. Mostly at home, with an hour every second day or so at a coffee shop.
Do you want to say anything else?
Work travel seems awesome until you do it a lot.
What do you think should people be doing more of?
Relaxing. People get too wound up about things that don't matter.
Where do your todo lists live?
Google Keep, of all places.
